In Illinois, Chiropractors can function as primary care physicians, and can order soft tissue work, Chiropractic, PT, etc for patients. 

For PPO insurances, you will not need a referral from your primary care doctor.  HMO insurances require a referral, but we do not accept HMO insurance in our clinic. 

Some insurance plans may require a referral for coverage purposes. Please check with your insurance provider or contact us for more information.

During your initial visit, you'll undergo a comprehensive evaluation where one of our skilled doctor will assess your condition, discuss your medical history, and perform any necessary tests/x-rays. 

You will then undergo a 40 minutes soft-tissue therapy session for your area of complaint, and following that receive a Chiropractic adjustment. 

You will also receive a second appointment to come back, review how you felt after your first treatment, and review any test findings. 

Based on those two criteria, our doctors will develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs. Please arrive a few minutes early to your first visit to complete any necessary paperwork.  Links are available online to fill this paperwork out before hand

The duration of therapy sessions may vary depending on your specific treatment plan and needs. Typically, sessions last between 45 minutes to one hour.

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely and access the area being treated. Athletic attire or loose-fitting clothing is often suitable for therapy sessions.

At this time we are participating providers in BCBS, AETNA, UHC, and MEDICARE only.  We are out of network provider with all other private insurance companies.

The number of therapy sessions required varies depending on the nature and severity of your condition, as well as your individual progress. Your doctor will discuss your treatment plan and expected timeline during your second visit.

Every patient is different and every treatment plan is different.  What works for one patient may not work for a different patient, which is why we have so many different therapist to choose from.
